Medline Plus provides reliable patient information from the National Institute of Health and other trusted sources, written for people who may find medical language confusing.  There is an “easy to read” section that includes many major health topics as well as a collection of videos for those who prefer something other than printed material.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website keeps you up to date on current events and provides information on various topics of interest including the latest numbers of seasonal flu cases.

Healthfinder.gov provides general information as well as how to find a health care provider and services.

For children, parents, and teachers, the Nemours Children’s Health System maintains KidsHealth website. Kids and teens can learn about health, managing illness, and other related issues.
